Back to School Night

When we meet with co-workers, look at companies, interview potential employees, employers or vendors we learn their background and credentials.

We do not get that information from teachers in our schools.

Why is it we just assume our teachers are qualified? We are left to trust that the districts and boards hire appropriately and check backgrounds of those who spend more waking hours with our children during the week than we do.

I was able to find more information about my printer than my child’s teacher. That’s just not right.

About Laurissa Doonan

I'm a marketer. I've been a professional marketer for over 25 years, but in reality, I have always been one. Marketing to me is about communicating effectively, regardless of platform, regardless of channel. Marketing is understanding both your objectives and your audience, and finding the right method and message for your customers to reach them where they are. Now I dedicate my efforts to helping very small and small companies pursue their passions and grow their businesses through marketing; providing agency trained expertise without the overhead.
