Mobile, Schmobile

Mobile Marketing vs. Mobile Strategy - mobile marketing is all marketing, it touches all channels and needs to be addressed first. Are you ready?

Marketers everywhere are touting the rise of mobile marketing, and it’s drowning out the other channels. The truth is, other channels are still getting the budget increases, including websites, social, email and content marketing! (see stats here)

Mobile marketing is important, whether you choose text messaging programs, apps, display or all, but don’t jump on the bandwagon if you’re not sure it’s right for your brand, today.

A key thing to remember is that the mobile platform, touches all channels. More and more people are accessing social media, websites and email through their mobile devices. Your marketing strategy for all initiatives needs to account for that.

Develop the strategy first, and through that, identify the channels, and how to approach each platform so that it engages with your audience.

How are you supporting your marketing objectives with mobile?
